How many pilots fly a show or what a team typically looks like?
Each show requires one pilot, one co-pilot, and one visual observer for every one hundred drones.
How close can the audience be to viewing the show?
Audiences must be at least a quarter of a mile from the show. Shows can be viewed up to 5 miles away in good weather.
How long does it take to set up?
Set up time depends on the size of your show. On average we require three to four hours for show set up.
How long can the show be?
Shows average 12-18 minutes recommended (up to 25 minutes in optimal conditions).
Can we push the show back if our timeline is behind?
We can accommodate minor delays of 10-15 minutes, longer delays may not be possible once pre-show preparations begin, as they impact battery life and performance. To ensure the best experience, please communicate any schedule changes as early as possible.
Can we fly over water?
Yes, we can fly our drone shows over water.
Can we fly over the audience to get to our show location?
No, we cannot fly our drone shows over audiences.
When do we need to clear the performance area?
Performance area needs to be clear one hour before show time.
Why is our safety area so large?
Our drone show safety area is large to ensure a secure flight zone, protect spectators, and allow for safe takeoff, operation, and landing of the drones.
How big must our takeoff area be?
The drones are set up in a grid on the ground, separated on each side by 1.5 to 3 meters depending on number of drones being flown. A 150'x150' area accommodates up to 200 drones.
Can we add music or a voice-over to our shows?
Yes, we can add music and voice-overs to your drone show.
What are the best viewing angles of the show?
The show is best viewed from the front or rear, each with a 120-degree viewing cone. From the rear, text will appear backwards.
